Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for day-to-day operations and maintaining the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. Troubleshoots and resolves mechanical issues to keep the property safe and functional, fulfills service requests and repairs, assists with supply purchases and bids, and supports turnkey operations. Ensures safety standards and curb appeal to renew and secure leases, maintains strong resident, vendor, and coworker communications, and contributes to an effective preventive maintenance program and budget adherence. Requires high school education or equivalent, EPA Type I and II certifications, valid driver’s license, English literacy, and relevant maintenance experience; strong customer service and teamwork skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
- EPA certification Type I and II
- One to two years minimum experience in community management maintenance or related trades
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to travel to training or other properties as requested
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Ability to work on-call as needed
