Job Summary
Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of production equipment, plant services, buildings, and facilities. Troubleshoot malfunctions by following operations manuals and manufacturer instructions while maintaining a safe, clean working environment. Perform light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work, including climbing ladders up to 20 feet and working in tight spaces. This role requires a Maine State High Pressure Boiler License, which Tex Tech will help obtain, offering a pay increase upon completion. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs, work independently, and possess strong mechanical knowledge. Experience with computers is a plus. The position involves an 8-hour day shift from Monday to Friday in our North Monmouth manufacturing facility.
Required Qualifications
- Proven skills in mechanics, millwright, carpentry, plumbing, welding, and fabrication
- Ability to understand and follow operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions and troubleshooting malfunctions
- Ability to work independently
- Strong mechanical and carpentry knowledge
- General knowledge of preventive maintenance
