Job Summary
Maintenance Technician needed for on-site building maintenance across three properties in Bloomington, MN. Responsibilities include completing work orders and basic repairs across HVAC (furnaces and water heaters), electrical, carpentry, plumbing, fixtures, appliances, and windows; performing preventative and grounds maintenance; assisting with unit turnovers; providing on-call emergency maintenance; and coordinating with residents, vendors, and management to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Requires strong organizational skills, 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in multi-family housing, a valid driver's license, and ability to pass a background check. Role is contract to hire (90 days before potential direct hire) with a weekly schedule from 8am-5pm, 5 days per week.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience in residential maintenance - multi-family experience is REQUIRED
- Experience with Furnaces & Water Heaters
- Experience in unit turns
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Be able to successfully pass a background check before employment - 7 year
