Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for completing work orders and make readies, maintaining property grounds and common areas, performing preventative maintenance, keeping a clean and organized shop, preparing weekly parts/material lists, assisting with emergency coverage, and delivering professional customer service to residents, staff, and vendors. Requires residential maintenance experience (minimum 2 years) in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC; HVAC certification preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license; ability to multitask and meet deadlines; willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends; and legal authorization to work in the United States. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion) or direct hire for the right candidate, with standard daytime hours and potential weekend and on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s license
- EPA HVAC certified preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Willing to work flexible schedule including weekends
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
