Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for preventative building maintenance and unit turns at a 255-unit community (5 stories, LEED Silver). Performs minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, light carpentry, painting, and landscaping; responds to resident/tenant work orders within 24 hours; prepares and turns vacated apartments within a 24-hour period; coordinates preventive maintenance; conducts hands-on repairs and site upkeep; conducts daily property walks; participates in last/first day month tasks with possible overtime and on-call rotations. Requires 3 years’ residential maintenance experience, unit-turns experience, NSPIRE/REAC familiarity, and CPO/boiler certifications preferred; valid driver’s license and background check required; contract-to-hire arrangement (90 days before conversion). Schedule: Monday–Friday 9am–6pm; on-call evening/weekends as required.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience in residential maintenance
- experience in unit turns, preventative maintenance and work orders
- CPO experience is required – certifications are highly preferred
- Boilers experience is required – certifications are highly preferred
- Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
- Be able to pass a Background check
