Job Summary
Maintenance Technician performs tasks involving the facility physical plant, equipment, and grounds maintenance, including carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and environmental services assignments. 6-8 hour shifts, full-time, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Tuesday–Friday, 3–6 months duration to cover leave, starting wage range $26.31–$31.72 per hour with geographic differentials; requires 2 years’ experience, a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, CPR/CPI/First Aid certifications, post-offer physical exam, TB testing, background checks, and driver requirements. PTO, holidays, shift differentials, tuition discounts, and comprehensive benefits are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience as a building maintenance technician, handy person, boiler worker, or related position
- High School graduation or a G.E.D
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment
- Driver's license and vehicle insurance with you listed as a driver (or ability to provide)
- Willingness to use personal vehicle for meetings (mileage reimbursement)
