Job Summary
Handle daily work requests from residents and office staff, including turning over apartments for occupancy, replacing appliances and fixtures, and performing corrective and preventive maintenance. Inspect properties, replace smoke detectors and circuit breakers, provide touch-up paint, change window screens, and manage snow removal and trash removal. Work forty hours weekly with on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Maintenance Technician experience
- Residential property maintenance knowledge
- Ability to handle daily work from residents and office staff
- Appliance, fixture, and switch maintenance/replacement skills
- Contractor coordination ability
- Corrective maintenance capability
- Preventive maintenance capability
- Building and grounds inspection skills
- Smoke detector, circuit breaker, and outlet replacement/maintenance skills
- Touch-up paint skills
- Window screen and glass replacement skills
- Cosmetic repair skills within apartments and common areas
- Snow removal capability
- Trash removal capability
- On-call availability for emergencies after hours and weekends
