Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform troubleshooting, maintenance repairs, and preventive maintenance for all equipment and facilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining the maintenance shop area, assisting production to ensure automation equipment is operational, and responding to emergency situations. You must have a high school diploma or GED, with over 10 years of industrial maintenance experience, particularly in troubleshooting complex systems and basic computer skills. Candidates should demonstrate mechanical aptitude and possess their own basic hand tools.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience in Industrial Maintenance
- Experience in Plastics Manufacturing Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Controls, Mechanical, Electrical, PLC, or HVAC
- Troubleshooting complex servo driven systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings
- Welding experience
- Basic computer experience
- Own basic hand tools for use on the job
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in troubleshooting PLCs
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to complete maintenance training
- Mechanical aptitude
