Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Maintenance Technician needed to perform troubleshooting, preventive and routine maintenance for facility and equipment, install/transfer equipment, complete work orders, and assist the production supervisor. Requires mechanical aptitude, ability to learn injection molding and automation equipment, owns tools, good communication skills, basic computer experience, and willingness to follow safety guidelines and training. Must be able to perform facility repairs and maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop; includes use of a handheld propane torch on the production floor.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to learn injection molding equipment, assembly processes, auxiliary equipment, decorating equipment, robots, and automation equipment
- Enrolled in or completion of maintenance apprenticeship program
- Must possess own tools for use on the job
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer experience
- Handheld propane torch usage on production floor
