Job Summary
Conduct routine facility inspections, check electrical and hydraulic systems, and perform all repair and installation activities to ensure operations run smoothly. Monitor equipment inventory, manage workload, and triage work orders by prioritizing urgent needs while maintaining clear communication with the Operations team. Keep detailed maintenance logs, report daily activities, and utilize CMMS and Excel software effectively. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems independently while adhering to health and safety policies. Collaborate with contractors and service providers to support facility needs and foster a safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years experience as a maintenance technician
- Basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC understanding
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to be proactive
- Experience in executing maintenance operations
- Ability to communicate effectively across other sites and departments
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational aptitude
- High School Diploma or Degree from a vocational school
Desired Qualifications
- CNC and compressor experience a PLUS
