Job Summary
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance based on the work-order system. Troubleshoot malfunctions, locate problem sources using precision tools, and adjust functional parts while complying with NEC standards. Control downtime by informing production workers of routine techniques and maintain a safe, clean environment through strict adherence to safety procedures. Requires industrial maintenance experience, ability to travel between Salinas, CA, and Yuma, AZ, and proficiency with electrical drives, PLCs, and various mechanical systems.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Industrial maintenance
- Preventative and Corrective/breakdown experience
- Completion of an industrial maintenance apprenticeship program
- Certificate or diploma in a related field
- Capable of reading and understanding diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
- Welding skills
- Thorough working knowledge of industrial equipment, its usage, and safety procedures
- Self-motivated, responsible and Safety Oriented individual
- Learns and applies standard tools and techniques to solve problems
- Demonstrates a positive 'can-do' attitude
- Takes responsibility for self-performance (Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently)
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results and meeting expectations
- Ability to travel and move to California & Arizona locations
- Must be familiar with the use of: IR Temperature Probe
- Must be familiar with the use of: Megger
- Must be familiar with the use of: Multimeter
- Must be familiar with the use of: General Tools
- Must be familiar with the use of: DC & AC Amperage Clamp Meter
- Must be proficient in reading and Interpreting Blueprints, Mechanical and Electrical Prints
- Must be able to troubleshoot AC Drives
- Must be able to troubleshoot DC Drives
- Must be able to troubleshoot Servo Drives
- Must be able to troubleshoot PLC
- Must be able to troubleshoot HMI
- Must be able to troubleshoot Close loop control systems
- Must be able to troubleshoot AC, DC, and Servo Motors Machinist and Mechanic Skills
- Must be able to troubleshoot Drill
- Must be able to troubleshoot Grinder
- Must be able to troubleshoot Pneumatics
- Must be able to troubleshoot Hydraulics
- Must be able to troubleshoot Valves
- Must be able to troubleshoot Vacuum pumps
- Must be able to troubleshoot Lubrication systems
