Job Summary
Complete preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers at 146 units of affordable housing in San Francisco. Perform repairs including painting, basic carpentry, wall repair, plumbing, and electrical work. Execute turnovers by cleaning apartments as directed and maintain a hazard-free environment. Submit work orders in a timely and accurate manner and clean up after each task. This role offers a salary of $23.00 to $25.70 per hour with 15 days of PTO, comprehensive health benefits, and quarterly bonus pay. Candidates must have a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and one or more years of skilled maintenance experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience.
- Take direction from the supervisor.
- Read, write, do basic math, and follow instructions.
- Flexible to change work plans.
- Maintain a professional personal appearance.
- Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work.
- Technical training in one or more building trades preferred.
