Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Ensure all facilities and equipment remain in good, safe working order by performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment including forging presses, combustion furnaces, CNC saws, and shot blast units. Conduct preventive maintenance according to established schedules while documenting repairs, part usage, and daily breakdowns in the maintenance system. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical servo drive systems, interpreting blueprints and schematics to resolve issues efficiently. Maintain accurate records of equipment status and adhere to LOTO and safe work practices throughout the facility.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in a machine repair and troubleshooting environment
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive systems
- Basic mechanical, welding and cutting skills
- Should be capable of reading/interpreting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints/schematics
- Good problem solving skills and attention to quality/detail
- Have basic computer skills
- Meter usage and ability to complete measurements
- Understanding and adherence to LOTO and safe work practices
