Job Summary
Maintenance Technician role supporting a veterinary hospital. Responsible for hospital cleanliness (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, trash), cleaning equipment and facilities with chemicals, following daily/weekly/monthly task lists, managing laundry for kennel, grooming, and hospital, grounds and building maintenance (landscape upkeep, waste disposal, minor repairs to lighting/heating/ventilation), inventory awareness, and reporting major repairs. May perform minor painting, plumbing, electrical work, snow removal, mowing, and HVAC-related tasks (furnace, boiler, A/C). Requires ability to lift 60 pounds, stand for long periods, and operate hand/power tools. Full-time schedule 7am-3pm, with weather-related adjustments. AAHA-accredited veterinary clinic environment emphasizing teamwork, patient care, and customer service.
