Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical equipment); communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors, and management regarding maintenance requests and project updates; complete preventive maintenance tasks to support safe and efficient operation of facility systems; respond to urgent maintenance needs, including occasional after-hours situations; complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and promptly; follow all applicable safety procedures, regulations, and facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred; healthcare, senior living, or skilled nursing experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or vocational training preferred.
