Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment issues while performing scheduled preventive maintenance on plant systems. Inspect compressors, electrical connections, and motor operations, then test and repair equipment using specialized tools. Maintain accurate records by completing daily, weekly, and monthly checklists and strictly adhere to all plant safety policies and regulations. This role requires 3+ years of industrial mechanic experience, familiarity with hydraulics and PLCs, and willingness to work overtime and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial mechanic experience
- Hands-on knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, and conveyors
- Familiarity with 3-phase/120V systems and PLC troubleshooting
- Comfortable reading blueprints and electrical schematics
- Own hand tools
- Skilled with power tools and multi-meters
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Food industry experience
- Electrical and/or ammonia refrigeration experience
