Job Summary
Maintenance Technicians perform routine and preventative maintenance at Sun’s communities, ensuring the physical integrity of properties, conducting repairs, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include cleaning, lawn care, water testing, and supervising contractors.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to endure fluctuations in temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work well independently and on a team
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months in previous maintenance experience in the apartment or manufactured housing industry
- 6 months in snow removal experience, including operating a plow truck
- 6 months in demonstrated knowledge of and broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work
