Job Summary
Conduct general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on vacation rental properties in the Nags Head area and southern beaches. Perform tasks ranging from basic carpentry and residential plumbing to drywall finishing, texture work, and equipment operation using standard tools and a company smartphone. Navigate varied work environments including outside weather conditions, tight spaces, stairs, ladders, and congested traffic while operating a vehicle with a valid NC driver's license. Maintain top-notch condition for homeowners' investment properties with flexibility for weekend, holiday shifts, and occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of valuable experience in general maintenance
- Basic carpentry skills that showcase your craftsmanship
- A valid driver's license for at least 3 years with a clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Basic knowledge of residential plumbing
- Hearing, speaking, seeing, walking, standing, sitting, driving, reaching bending climbing steps/ladders, and lifting 50-85+ pounds
- Reading, comprehension, legible writing skills
- Effective written and verbal communication in the English language
- A valid, active NC driver license for a minimum of 3 years (clean MVR)
- Operation of basic tools and equipment
- Smart phone or similar electronic device
- Saturday and Sunday work
- Overtime
- Regular, punctual attendance
