Job Summary
Complete work orders and other community maintenance, including picking up trash, cleaning buildings and amenities, and preparing vacant apartments for move-in by reviewing make-ready boards and executing necessary repairs. Identify and report needed maintenance and liability hazards to the manager. Perform repairs and replacements for HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and major appliances while adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Work odd schedules and be on call.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of general maintenance experience
- HVAC Certification required, ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, and all major appliances, including washer and dryer
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
- Require working odd schedules and be on call
Desired Qualifications
- EPA universal license for HVAC preferred
- CPO license preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred; college-level/trade school preferred
- Basic computer proficiency preferred
- Bilingual is a plus
