Job Summary
Install, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical equipment, including injection molding machines, paint lines, process water systems, and compressed air systems. Correct safety issues involving equipment and facilities and mentor apprentices while gathering information to perform root cause corrective actions. Requires a high school diploma, journeyman card, and at least two years of manufacturing experience. This role reports to the Manager, Maintenance within Summit Polymers' global automotive interior systems facility.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Journeyman card
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Basic understanding Electrical, Hydraulic and/or Mechanical systems
- Minimum score of 50 on the Wonderlic Select Assessment (Traditional score of 20 on the Cognitive portion)
- Agreement to complete all post-hire required training
Desired Qualifications
- Journeyman card
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing Electrical, Hydraulic and Mechanical systems
