Job Summary
Complete routine service requests within 24 hours, spot clean model and vacant units daily, and ensure the clean condition of the community at all times. Provide excellent service to residents, guests, employees, and contractors while reporting maintenance issues to the supervisor for review. Maintain the maintenance shop according to policy and assist in other tasks as directed. Perform grounds and common area clean-up, adhering to posted work rules and procedures. Must own tools, possess a valid driver's license, and be available for weekend and after-hours on-call rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of electric, plumbing, HVAC and basic construction
- A general mechanical aptitude combined with a willingness and desire to learn
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Professional demeanor resulting from previous maintenance experience
- Excellent customer service skills

- Certified HVAC
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
