Job Summary
Conduct reactive maintenance repairs, manage grounds maintenance, and oversee redecoration tasks within Merchant Studios. Escort third-party contractors to the site and perform daily health and safety compliance checks with precise reporting. Handle debt management and bin store operations while utilizing mobile apps to process information and track issues. Work 37.5 hours per week, five days out of seven, from 8am to 8pm. This role supports Student Roost's mission to create a home away from home for students through reliable building care and a supportive culture.
Required Qualifications
- A People Person – friendly, approachable, and great at building relationships
- Confident providing exceptional resident experience through tackling maintenance head on
- A team player who thrives in a supportive and collaborative environment
- Tech savvy – ability to learn new systems quickly and comfortable using mobile apps to process information
- Organised and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills
- Comfortable with following process, with a dedication to Health and Safety
- Resilient, with the ability to get stuck in with messy jobs such as drain blockages and bin store management
- Solutions orientated, with the ability to think on your feet
- Electrical training will be provided however any additional maintenance qualifications are welcomed, but not essential
