Job Summary
Diagnose defects and complete repairs on buildings, grounds, and amenities within 24 to 48 hours of resident requests. Execute pre-move-out inspections, create punch lists, and coordinate vendors to prepare vacant units for leasing. Manage maintenance shop inventory, track supplies, and inspect contractor work to ensure quality standards. Document all service requests accurately and adhere to safety protocols, including OSHA training and incident reporting. Treat residents with respect while addressing complaints and performing routine property inspections. Requires EPA Type I and II refrigerant certifications, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50 pounds independently. Schedule involves 40 hours weekly with weekend availability and flexible hours including evenings and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Current Valid Driver's License
- EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
- all certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions
- Must be available to work on weekends when scheduled
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions unaccompanied
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule which includes taking calls evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to 50 pounds independently
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to 150 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, stoop, and squat
- Must be able to sit and perform keyboard work
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent
