Job Summary
The Multifamily Maintenance Technician performs hands-on, jack-of-all-trades maintenance and repair duties across residential units and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep. Responsibilities cover unit turnovers, preventative maintenance, safety/compliance with OSHA and fair housing standards, after-hours on-call support, grounds upkeep, vendor coordination, and documenting maintenance work orders. Must troubleshoot independently, manage repairs from start to finish, and provide customer-service oriented support to residents. Requires 2+ years of maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license; physical tasks include lifting up to 75 lbs. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily, residential, or commercial settings
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs with the ability to troubleshoot independently
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks regularly
