Job Summary
Evaluate, prioritize, and resolve work orders for apartment community maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with pipes, furnaces, water heaters, and toilets while ensuring quality standards are met. Monitor inventory of commonly used parts and perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. This role requires living on-site in a company-provided apartment to respond to after-hours emergency calls on a rotating basis. EPA certification is required, with paid training provided if needed.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certification
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in multi-family property maintenance
- Knowledge of maintenance safety guidelines and procedures, and OSHA regulations (including state-specific)
- HVAC experience
- CPO Certification and pool chemistry and maintenance skills
- Ability to shovel snow and/or clear ice from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spread salt in those areas during snow season
- Maintain a professional appearance following team dress code policy
- Able to effectively and professionally communicate with residents and co-workers
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning software, apps, and programs
