Job Summary
Conduct overall maintenance for the apartment community by evaluating, prioritizing, and resolving work orders according to company policies. Perform specialized repairs including plumbing tasks, HVAC troubleshooting for air conditioners and furnaces, appliance diagnostics, carpentry work, electrical fixes, and tile replacements. Monitor inventory of commonly used parts to ensure adequate stock. Respond to after-hours emergency calls on a rotating basis while living in a company-provided apartment. Maintain professional appearance, communicate effectively with residents, and possess basic computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certification
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in multi-family property maintenance
- Knowledge of maintenance safety guidelines and procedures, and OSHA regulations (including state-specific)
- HVAC experience
- CPO Certification and pool chemistry and maintenance skills
- Ability to shovel snow and/or clear ice from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spread salt in those areas during snow season
- Maintain a professional appearance following team dress code policy
- Able to effectively and professionally communicate with residents and co-workers
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning software, apps, and programs
