Job Summary
Conduct overall maintenance of the apartment community by evaluating, prioritizing, and resolving work orders according to company quality standards. Successfully perform plumbing tasks, HVAC repairs, carpentry, electrical work, and tile replacements while troubleshooting appliance and system issues. Monitor inventory of commonly used parts and clear snow or ice from walks and driveways during winter seasons. Complete all assigned duties while maintaining a professional appearance and communicating effectively with residents and co-workers. This role requires living on-site in a company-provided apartment in exchange for availability to respond to after-hours emergency calls on a rotating basis. EPA certification is required, with paid training provided if needed.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certification
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in multi-family property maintenance
- Knowledge of maintenance safety guidelines and procedures, and OSHA regulations (including state-specific)
- HVAC experience
- CPO Certification and pool chemistry and maintenance skills
- Ability to shovel snow and/or clear ice from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spread salt in those areas during snow season
- Maintain a professional appearance following team dress code policy
- Able to effectively and professionally communicate with residents and co-workers
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning software, apps, and programs
