Job Summary
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, utilities, and manufacturing support equipment in a pharmaceutical environment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues while monitoring compressed air, purified water, and steam generators. Execute repairs for plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance, coordinating with vendors and contractors. Complete work orders and documentation in the CMMS, adhering to cGMP, FDA, and OSHA requirements. Diagnose failures, participate in root cause investigations, and support continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records and assist with audits, inspections, and corrective actions. Available for 8AM-4:30PM Monday through Friday shifts, overtime, weekends, and on-call support.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of facilities maintenance or HVAC experience in an industrial, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of: HVAC systems, Boilers and chillers, Air compressors, Pumps and motors
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings
- Basic computer skills and CMMS experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and work on rooftops
- Ability to work in mechanical rooms and manufacturing areas
- Ability to wear required PPE
- Must be available for overtime as needed
- Must be available for weekends and on-call support
- Must be willing to support emergency facility issues outside normal working hours
Desired Qualifications
- EPA Universal Certification
- Trade school, vocational training, or technical degree
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
- Experience with BMS/EMS systems
- Experience with purified water systems and cleanroom environments
