Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, performs grounds keeping, ensures safety compliance, and assists with facility improvement projects at the agency's main campus.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment
- Advanced computer skills for work order management
- Ability to work evening and/or weekend hours
- Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
- Ability to begin the workday at 5:00 am for heavy snow removal
