Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime. Implement continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability. This role requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience and proficiency in reading technical manuals. Schedule and hours are flexible based on partner company needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years experience in industrial maintenance
- Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and preventative maintenance scheduling
- Certification in a specialized trade (e.g., welding, HVAC, hydraulics)
