Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair, upkeep, and preventative maintenance of car wash equipment across assigned locations, ensuring maximum equipment uptime through regular maintenance and repairs. The role requires effective time management to complete tasks based on urgency and involves coaching personnel on equipment performance. The technician will also manage parts inventory and maintain safety standards while being prepared for physical tasks and extensive travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Minimum two years' experience in a comprehensive maintenance role
- Demonstrated experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing
- Able to pass background check and maintain a good driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of Industrial Maintenance apprenticeship
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
- Welding experience
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and on-call hours
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
- 80-100% travel within assigned region
