Job Summary
Respond to resident and management service requests for occupied and vacant rental units. Repair or replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and apartment materials. Perform routine preventative maintenance, inspect vacant units for move-ins, and complete grounds work including sweeping and light landscaping. Work on-call 24/7, weekends, and overtime as necessary. Operate machinery safely while maintaining compliance with all procedures. Requires high school diploma, working knowledge of HVAC/plumbing/electrical, and valid driver's license. Full-time Monday through Friday with weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and energy management systems
- Certifications/licenses as required by local, state, or other regulations
- Must have reliable transportation, maintain auto insurance, and have a valid driver's license
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work on-call as scheduled and work weekends and after hours as necessary
- Must be able to pass background and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
- Pool Certification
- LIHTC experience
- Minimum two years' general residential maintenance experience
