Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at Southerly LoSo: perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to building systems; maintain HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems; respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies; keep work areas clean and safe; perform janitorial duties when needed; ensure compliance with safety codes and company policies; maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs; assist with renovations, installations or furniture assembly; monitor inventory and coordinate with contractors or vendors for specialized repairs; valid driver’s license if travel between sites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus
- Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities or a related field
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints and work orders
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects or work in tight spaces
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
- Valid driver’s license (if travel between sites is required)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Criminal Background Check, Non-DOT Testing, MVR
