Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for completing work orders and preventative maintenance to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality of Greystar properties. Responsibilities include diagnosing defects, performing repairs, completing make-ready tasks for vacant units, coordinating with vendors/contractors, maintaining documentation and inventories, and assisting with grounds and amenities. Required to have 3-5 years of related experience, EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling, valid driver’s license (where applicable), basic computer skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical requirements include standing/walking for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of related experience
- EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
- valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable)
- basic computer skills and ability to navigate standard workplace software and systems
- OSHA safety-related training and compliance
- ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- experience in preventatives maintenance and make-ready processes
