Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsibilities include assisting with resident work orders, emergency calls, preventive maintenance, and amenity upkeep; preparing vacant units; maintaining orderly shops and inventory; logging work orders, updating databases, and assisting the Maintenance Manager with budget responsibilities; delivering professional, resident-focused service by resolving requests, delivering notices, and helping set up or clean up resident events; and upholding company policies and a strong customer-service orientation.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of maintenance experience
- refrigeration certification (Type II or Universal) required within 90 days
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- hand tools, testing devices, hand-trucks, and ladders up to 40 feet
- physical ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 300 lbs on wheels
- move 75–300+ lb appliances
- perform repairs on equipment (exercise machines, grills, gates, etc.) and upgrades like lighting or ceiling fan installs
