Job Summary
Conduct hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and pool systems while responding to work orders and walking the property to catch issues early. Protect curb appeal by maintaining grounds and building exteriors, then partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks, approve purchases, and coordinate vendors. Keep clear records of materials and completion status, manage after-hours emergency on-call rotations including snow removal, and follow all safety procedures. Provide and maintain a comprehensive set of personal hand tools for daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year in general maintenance and repair work
- A working understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry systems
- Strong communication and a genuine customer-service mindset
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The physical capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for long stretches, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and property management software
- Sunday-Thursday, 8am–4:30pm, plus on-call rotation
- Take your turn in the after-hours emergency on-call rotation and pitch in on snow and ice removal
Desired Qualifications
- Trade school or technical certification
- Onsite multifamily maintenance experience
- Experience with Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, AIRM, LEO, Appwork, or similar CRM tools
- Spanish fluency
