Job Summary
Maintenance Technician position in Milwaukee, WI, performing routine and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical production equipment and plant systems, including the main power supply. Must have a strong electrical background and knowledge of NFPA 70E standards; duties include installing/repairing wiring and control circuits, performing preventive maintenance, calibrating pneumatic and other mechanical systems, operating maintenance software, and maintaining records. Shift is 2nd (training on 1st); full-time with benefits; boiler license a plus and expected to be obtained if not already held.
Required Qualifications
- Full benefits eligibility Day 1: Medical/Dental/Vision/401k/Paid Vacation
- $35.60-$45.91/hr. based on knowledge and experience
- Shift: 2nd Shift. Will train on 1st shift
- Maintains and repairs a variety of hand and power tools
- Strong electrical background a must
- Must have a strong understanding of NFPA 70E standards
- Boiler License a plus; will be expected to obtain if not already acquired
- Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities
- Installing/repairing electrical wiring and control circuits
- Calibrates and repairs pneumatic systems and other mechanical systems
- Operates computer controlling machinery
- Maintains records of maintenance procedures
- Excellent communication with employees and vendors
- Maintenance experience in PLC, Pneumatics, Hydraulics
- Experience with preventive maintenance procedure scheduling
- Ability to read print/blueprints
