Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for preventative building maintenance across assigned apartment buildings, performing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting in occupied units; submit maintenance logs and time sheets; repair items in vacant turnover units; clean and inspect common areas, lighting, fire extinguishers, boiler rooms; shovel and salt walkways; perform monthly inspections; work with ladders and power tools; apply HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety knowledge; requires 2+ years in HVAC equipment, BAS, and FAS for Class A residential complexes; valid driver’s license may be required; ability to lift 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent
- minimum two (2) years’ experience in HVAC equipment, BAS, and FAS in Class A residential complex is required
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and automobile insurance may be required
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, e-mail/web) are required
- Ability to lift 50lbs, bend, push and pull as well as go up and down stairs
