Job Summary
Complete assigned work orders by applying general knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC while supporting the preventative maintenance schedule. Maintain a valid driver's license and hold EPA Certification for HVAC. Perform general mechanical tasks including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and grounds maintenance. This role supports the preventative maintenance schedule at Acts Retirement-Life Communities, a not-for-profit operator of resort-style senior living communities across nine states.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of technical maintenance experience
- General mechanical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and grounds maintenance
- EPA Certification for HVAC
- Valid driver's license
- Compliance with Florida's Care Provider Background Screening process
