Job Summary

Maintenance Technician (production, utilities, facilities) on a 100% onsite role at the Bloomington, Indiana pharmaceutical production facilities. Responsible for routine and non-routine checks and electrical/mechanical repair of production, utilities, and packaging & inspection equipment; troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance; identify and implement continuous improvement projects; develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures; review equipment component failures and recommend improvements for long-term reliability; manage equipment documentation and change control; participate in spare part analysis and inventory development; installation and startup of new equipment. Requires a high school diploma or GED (technical associate degree preferred) with 2-5 years (technician), 5-8 years (senior technician), or 8+ years (lead technician) of industrial maintenance experience in a multi-craft environment; preferred aseptic manufacturing experience and HVAC/welding certifications; strong computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, and enterprise software such as JDE, BPLM, Pilgrim, Trackwise). Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, lift 20 pounds overhead, wear PPE, and work overtime including nights and weekends; gowning qualification for Grade A/B areas as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED (Technical Associates degree preferred)
  • 2-5 years industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent) in a multi craft environment - MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
  • 5-8 years industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent) in a multi craft environment - SR. MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
  • 8+ years industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent) in a multi craft environment and leadership/supervisory experience - LEAD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
  • Preferred experience in aseptic manufacturing environment
  • Preferred HVAC/welding certification
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to use enterprise software (examples include: JDE, BPLM, Pilgrim, Trackwise, etc.)
  • Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends
  • Must be able to gown qualify for Grade A/B areas, as needed.
