Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for completing maintenance requests including basic repairs (drywall, painting, carpentry) and HVAC/plumbing/equipment tasks in a timely manner; may be on-call and work non-traditional schedules (evenings, weekends, events); assist with making vacant units rent-ready and posting work-order statuses; handle plumbing issues and repairs, groundskeeping, and adherence to OSHA safety standards; require high school diploma or GED or vocational training and 1+ years in building/facility maintenance; preferred HVAC/electrical/plumbing licensing; must read meters/diagrams, write reports, and communicate in English; must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; strong problem-solving, multitasking, and teamwork with staff, vendors, contractors, and residents.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of high school/GED or specialized vocational training
- 1+ years of experience in building and facility maintenance
- Licensing and trade certification in HVAC, Electrical Wiring, or Plumbing is highly desired
- Ability to read and write in English at an intermediate level
- Valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance
