MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician at Shamin Hotels, you will troubleshoot and repair hotel equipment, facilities, and systems (including HVAC and electrical). You’ll perform preventative maintenance, conduct regular inspections, coordinate the maintenance staff, diagnose potential issues, and help ensure operations stay within budget. Essential tasks include routine building maintenance (window/door/wall repairs), repairing plumbing leaks, servicing electrical wiring, maintaining HVAC systems, applying preventive measures on the building, addressing safety hazards, painting and refinishing surfaces, managing MSDS files, programming hotel phone equipment, training maintenance staff, maintaining guest-room equipment, inventory management of parts and supplies, and documenting work performed and room status. You’ll collaborate with team members to uphold service standards, safety, and guest satisfaction, while adhering to company policies and procedures. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree, technical school and/or equivalent experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Must have basic Reading, Writing, and Math skills.
- Valid driver’s license required
- Customer Service Skills required.
- Prioritization and time management skills required.
- Must have a strong attention to detail
