Job Summary
The Equipment Technician performs and ensures that the manufacturing equipment is in working condition, providing the necessary preventive and corrective maintenance to facilitate production without defects caused by the equipment. Responsibilities include calibrating test equipment, planning preventative maintenance, repairing defective equipment or systems, assisting with repairs and preventive actions on equipment within production, deploying new equipment, informing the supervisor about maintenance issues during unplanned repairs, and contributing to continuous improvement events for production equipment performance.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
