Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on machinery including lasers, CNC equipment, presses, and forklifts. Analyze equipment failures to identify root causes and improve preventive maintenance practices. Monitor, prioritize, and complete work orders accurately while maintaining safety standards through lockout/tagout and facility upkeep. Mentor apprentices in the Maintenance Apprenticeship Program and support continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience working with three-phase electrical systems (up to 480V) and low-voltage circuits
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certification in Multi-Craft Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing PLC-controlled equipment
- Strong mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of managing priorities with minimal supervision
- Customer-service mindset with a commitment to supporting production operations and minimizing downtime
