Job Summary
Senior Maintenance Technician responsible for expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance of industrial equipment, including observing operation to locate root causes, dismantling devices to access/replace parts, testing performance, and repairing/conditioning machine tools. Leads CI activities, sources parts, may operate multiple machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder), performs welding tasks, ensures 5S and housekeeping, provides training to lower-level technicians, analyzes complex control systems, utilizes predictive maintenance data and CMMS records, and travels as needed. Requires knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems, tool use, and experience with vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations. May require travel. Pay range $33.42–$42.75 per hour; equivalent annualized range $69,514–$88,920.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- Associate's degree with a Technical focus and 5 years of related experience in a specific industry; or, 7 years of experience in a specific industry
- Experience in predictive technologies, precision alignments, and general maintenance of applicable process equipment
- Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems
- May be required to travel
