Job Summary
Operate, adjust, and perform start-ups and shutdowns of boiler room equipment, including boilers, de-aerators, pumps, water softeners, and reverse osmosis units. Maintain solvent recovery systems, plant HPA and LPA equipment, and chilled water systems while conducting water testing and chemical treatment for boilers and cooling towers. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pumps, piping, valves, and seals. Keep accurate equipment logs, generate EPA reports, and monitor the facility's fire protection system. This rotating 12-hour shift position in Lomira, WI, offers a starting pay of $25 to $45 based on experience, with benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401(K), paid vacation, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on training as a boiler/solvent recovery operator
- Proven ability to operate and maintain equipment such as boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, and various pumps
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Commitment to keeping precise equipment logs and reports
- Familiarity with EPA reporting standards
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 4 years of experience
- Rotating 12 hour shifts
