Job Summary
Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance on production equipment while adhering to all safety guidelines, food safety, and GMP procedures. Meet daily with the Maintenance Supervisor to define priorities, perform maintenance service requests, and assist with bench-work repairs to maintain spare parts inventory. Identify opportunities to decrease variation and operational costs, and support emergency response situations in the plant. This role requires a full-time 8-hour shift with availability across the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, including weekends and overtime. Candidates must possess at least two years of mechanical maintenance experience and one year of industrial electrical experience, with the ability to read electrical schematics and work in confined areas with varying temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years' mechanical maintenance and one-year industrial electrical experience
- Experience working in confined areas with widely varying temperature conditions
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Ability to work weekends and overtime
- Experience using a CMMS / Work Order system
- Constant walking, bending, stooping, ladder climbing
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds at least four times per day
- High School education
