Job Summary
Troubleshoot and perform repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic equipment, including production line machinery such as conveyor belts, packaging, grinding, and stacking units. Assist in the installation of machinery, execute cut and welding tasks including light steel fabrication, and inspect and adjust equipment. Diagnose malfunctions and perform assigned maintenance duties. Requires prior relevant maintenance experience, manufacturing background, ability to lift 50 lbs, and proficiency in reading numbers and maintaining written records. Located in Geismar, LA, with an hourly rate between $25.95 and $35.05.
Required Qualifications
- Prior relevant maintenance experience
- Ability for prolonged and repetitive motions of standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, climbing, reaching overhead and arms/hands dexterity
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Ability to read numbers, product descriptions, and maintain written records
- Ability to push button, monitor controls, and perform basic math functions
