Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance, repairs and inspections to ensure buildings and facilities remain safe, functional and in good condition. Responsibilities include inspections, preventative maintenance, HVAC, plumbing and electrical system upkeep, responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, janitorial duties when needed, maintaining records of activities and repairs, assisting with building renovations or furniture assembly, monitoring inventory and coordinating with contractors or vendors for specialized repairs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus
- Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities or a related field
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints and work orders
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects or work in tight spaces
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
- Valid driver’s license (if travel between sites is required)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Criminal Background Check, Non-DOT Testing, MVR
