Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex production equipment (mechanical, electrical) to ensure uninterrupted production and compliance with company standards. Tasks include inspecting and diagnosing malfunctions, dismantling machines to access defective parts, performing routine maintenance on drives, motors, and belts, diagnosing mechanical problems from blueprints or repair manuals, repairing wiring and electronic components, assembling or repairing machinery, cleaning and lubricating parts, ordering replacement parts, planning repair work from diagrams and schematics, operating machine tools, training or managing maintenance personnel or subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 year internal or relevant industrial machinery maintenance exp. required
- Forklift certification preferred (will certify in-house)
- Valid Driver’s license
- First-aid certification preferred
- CPR certification preferred
